Day two continued

More updates:

TExAS and the use of the enrollment button in the monthly reporting system is critical. Only a fraction of the enrollment is in the system compared to 2006. This must be done or each county will be faced with completing an ES237 Report.

Starting Sept. 1 4-H Connect will no longer accept personal checks. To pay with a checking account it must be done with an e-check. County checks will continue to be accepted..... This is being done to curb nonpayment and NFS checks.

4-H Connect is shaping up to become the new online 4-H enrollment system for 4-H. Pilot counties have been identified and will begin using the system this next year. Just keeping an eye on the future....

Day two 4-H Faculty Meeting

Iron Chef concept is the new cutting edge idea to spice up Food Shows. Jodi McManus etal will be hosting a contest at the State Fair. Watch your email for details. In D9 if we can find a way to free up agents this would be an awsome idea for Food Show.

Charters for 4-H Clubs are a must across the state. It may seem like another hoop to jump through but you will be glad you have it done if you have trouble with a club. All Charters must be renewed every three years. I would suggest doing it annually. It will help you collect the paperwork you need on the club.

The D9 Web page will be moving again.... Just a heads up. All District 4-H pages will be uniform and hosted under the State Page.
